AirNav RadarBox Highlights Its Impressive Ground Coverage Around The World
Los Angeles International Airport (LAX/KLAX) Ground Coverage provided by AirNav RadarBox
AirNav RadarBox has been operating in the flight tracking space since 2001. Over the past decade, we have constantly been investing in and improving our coverage, especially our ground & ADS-B (ground-based) coverage at major airports in Europe, the United States, Oceania, Asia, the Middle East, South America, North America, Africa, and all over the world.
Coverage

As part of our efforts to expand and improve our ground coverage globally, we also frequently upgrade processors and servers to provide the most accurate and reliable ground coverage around the planet. Some of the improvements include:
- Data Quality (complex data quality management).
- Data Redundancy.
- Improved data collection methods.
We currently have a global ADS-B network of over 26,000 receivers in over 180 countries worldwide. 180 new ADS-B receivers were added worldwide during the last 30 days.

Each week, we also ship over 50 ADS-B units to qualified feeders and airports that need coverage.
Xrange 2Â
AirNav RadarBox Xrange 2Â
The XRange 2 is the next iteration of the hugely successful XRange ADS-B receiver, designed and developed by AirNav Systems. With this iteration, stability and performance were the main focus. The firmware on the XRange 2 has been upgraded to the latest and most stable firmware version. However, most of the core hardware is from the original XRange, such as the inbuilt filters and amplifiers.

Additionally, we are investing in our new FPGA receivers and installing them near the world's busiest airports, ensuring 30% more gain than the previous generation.Â
Here are some airports where we've been investing in ground coverage with terrific results:

These points on the map represent our coverage. We are continuously investing in sending new ADS-B stations and improving our processors to process a greater amount of data in an accurate way that guarantees 100% coverage on the ground.

London Heathrow Airport (LHR/EGLL)
London Heathrow Airport (LHR/EGLL) Ground Coverage
At London Heathrow Airport for example, we track 1100 flights per day or 8050 per week. An average of 92 flights per hour!

Also, in addition to our processor enhancements and server investments, we've been investing heavily in installing units near the Dubai and Tokyo Airports.
Dubai International Airport (DXB/OMDB)
Dubai International Airport (DXB/OMDB) Ground Coverage
Dubai International Airport has a total capacity of 90 million passengers annually. As of January 2016, there are over 7,700 weekly flights operated by 140 airlines to over 270 destinations across all inhabited continents. And we are really proud to have such ground coverage in one of the busiest airports in the world!

Tokyo International Airport (HND/RJTT)
Tokyo International Airport (HND/RJTT) Ground Coverage
Tokyo Haneda International Airport, sometimes called Tokyo Haneda Airport or Haneda International Airport, is one of two international airports serving the Greater Tokyo Area. We have full coverage across that region, especially in Japan and South Korea, where thousands of domestic and international flights are on the radar screen every day.Â

Tabatinga Station (The first feeder and ADS-B station in the heart of Amazon)
AirNav RadarBox recently installed its first ADS-B station in the heart of the Amazon rainforest, at the triple frontier between Brazil (Tabatinga), Colombia (Leticia), and Peru (Santa Rosa de YavarÃ) - one of the most isolated places on Earth. RadarBox is the first flight tracking company to install an ADS-B station in this region.
