The NTSB (National Transportation Safety Board) has opened an investigation into yesterday's turbulence incident on JetBlue flight B61256. The incident occurred during the cruise phase near Jamaica while the Airbus A320 was en route from Guayaquil, Ecuador, to Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

Eight people have been hospitalized after JetBlue flight B61256 experienced severe turbulence as it landed in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, on Monday (25).Â
The Airbus A320 landed safely and was met by medical personnel. According to the airline, seven customers and one inflight crewmember were transported to the hospital for evaluation and treatment.
