Qatar Airways Flies 140 FIFA Legends to FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022

The World Cup is here! Only 5 days left until FIFA World Cup 2022! And Qatar's flag carrier, Qatar Airways, will fly 140 FIFA Legends to participate in the FIFA Fan Fans and Legends tournament at the FIFA Fan Festival at Al Bidda Park.
The Qatar national soccer team will kick off its tournament next Sunday (November 20) in the opening match against Ecuador. The team will face other Group A opponents, including Netherlands and Senegal.
Akbar Al Baker, Qatar Airways Group Chief Executive, commented: "This time next week, the first FIFA World Cup whistle will sound, marking the beginning of a truly extraordinary tournament that will be remembered for a lifetime. On behalf of the Qatar Airways Group, we are excited to welcome football fans onboard and at various key locations around the country."
Qatar Airways has completed the installation of a FIFA World Cup decal on 120 aircraft. The specially branded aircraft include 48 B777s, 31 B787s, 21 A320s, 12 A330s, and eight A380s. The airline also operates three hand-painted Boeing 777 with Qatar's 2022™ FIFA World Cup livery.
